Kurt founded Verticore Commercial with a broad business background and a long track record of success in contract negotiations. In 2010, he identified an unmet need in the hotel industry and as a result, created a firm that specializes in brokering land for new hotel developments. Locations are primarily in urban and high-barrier-of-entry markets.
As a senior sales executive at PepsiCo’s Beverage Division, he gained high-level negotiation skills – working to create positive outcomes for the brands, the bottlers and the national accounts he served. Guided by his core values, he applies this experience to optimize deal terms on behalf of hotel and Mixed-use developers.
Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado where he attended on a full basketball scholarship. He completed coursework at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
